TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows, radiation oncologists, surgeons and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of breast cancer. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Appreciate the incidence and clinical implications of ESR1 mutations in endocrine-resistant metastatic breast cancer (mBC), and determine optimal strategies to effectively identify patients harboring these abnormalities.
  • Understand the biological rationale for, mechanism of action of and pharmacologic similarities and differences between available and investigational oral selective estrogen receptor degraders (SERDs).
  • Interrogate published research documenting the efficacy of oral SERD monotherapy for ER-positive, HER2-negative, ESR1-mutated mBC progressing on standard endocrine therapy in combination with a CDK4/6 inhibitor to optimally integrate these agents into the care of appropriately selected patients.
  • Review available research data evaluating the role of serial ESR1 testing using circulating tumor DNA as a means to inform early therapeutic switching for patients with hormone receptor-positive mBC receiving CDK4/6 inhibitor-based first-line therapy, and consider the potential role of this novel strategy in treatment.
  • Evaluate available clinical trial data with oral SERDs in combination with other systemic therapies (eg, CDK4/6 inhibitors, mTOR inhibitors), and consider the potential role of these regimens in disease management.
  • Appreciate side effects associated with available and investigational oral SERDs, and use this information to develop supportive care plans for patients undergoing treatment with this form of therapy.
  • Assess ongoing clinical research studies evaluating novel applications of oral SERDs for ER-positive breast cancer, and counsel patients regarding the potential benefits of trial participation.

  • Appreciate the incidence of KMT2A translocations or NPM1 mutations in patients with acute leukemias, and understand the significance of these abnormalities for prognosis, biomarker assessment and current disease management.
  • Describe the mechanism of action of menin inhibitors, and review the rationale for their activity in patients with KMT2A-rearranged and NPM1-mutant acute leukemias.
  • Evaluate available efficacy and safety data with menin inhibitors for patients with previously treated KMT2A-rearranged acute leukemias, and optimally integrate FDA-approved agents into management algorithms.
  • Assess published clinical trial findings with menin inhibitors for the treatment of NPM1-mutant acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and consider the implications for current and future management.
  • Understand the spectrum, incidence and severity of side effects, including differentiation syndrome and cardiac toxicity, associated with menin inhibitors, and develop appropriate monitoring and management protocols.
  • Appreciate ongoing research efforts attempting to further define the role of menin inhibitors alone and in combination with other therapies in treatment for AML, and counsel patients regarding the benefits of clinical trial participation.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Appreciate the incidence of KMT2A translocations or NPM1 mutations in patients with acute leukemias, and understand the significance of these abnormalities for prognosis, biomarker assessment and current disease management.
  • Describe the mechanism of action of menin inhibitors, and review the rationale for their activity in patients with KMT2A-rearranged and NPM1-mutant acute leukemias.
  • Evaluate available efficacy and safety data with menin inhibitors for patients with previously treated KMT2A-rearranged acute leukemias, and optimally integrate FDA-approved agents into management algorithms.
  • Assess published clinical trial findings with menin inhibitors for the treatment of NPM1-mutant acute myeloid leukemia (AML), and consider the implications for current and future management.
  • Understand the spectrum, incidence and severity of side effects, including differentiation syndrome and cardiac toxicity, associated with menin inhibitors, and develop appropriate monitoring and management protocols.
  • Appreciate ongoing research efforts attempting to further define the role of menin inhibitors alone and in combination with other therapies in treatment for AML, and counsel patients regarding the benefits of clinical trial participation.

  • Assess the incidence of cadherin-6 expression in OC, and understand the structural components of, mechanism of action of and available data with novel ADCs directed at this target.
  • Review published clinical research documenting the efficacy of HER2-targeted agents and regimens for HER2-overexpressing OC and other gynecologic cancers, and consider the role of ADCs and other approaches in the care of patients with these diseases.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, gynecologists and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of ovarian cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand available clinical research findings with PARP inhibitors as maintenance therapy after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer (OC), and appropriately counsel patients regarding personalized treatment recommendations.
  • Evaluate published clinical research data with PARP inhibitors in combination with other systemic therapies in the management of OC, and consider the current and future clinical and research implications.
  • Appraise biological, patient and treatment-related factors to individualize the selection and sequencing of therapy for patients with platinum-sensitive and platinum-resistant recurrent OC.
  • Recognize the rationale for targeting folate receptor alpha (FRα) in OC, and understand the mechanism of action of and available research findings with FRα-directed antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
  • Appreciate available and emerging clinical research findings with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in combination with chemotherapy for patients with platinum-resistant OC, and consider the potential role of this novel therapeutic strategy.
  • Understand the biological justification for the evaluation of selective glucocorticoid receptor modulators in combination with chemotherapy for patients with platinum-resistant OC, and recall available Phase III research findings with this novel approach.
  • Assess the incidence of cadherin-6 expression in OC, and understand the structural components of, mechanism of action of and available data with novel ADCs directed at this target.
  • Review published clinical research documenting the efficacy of HER2-targeted agents and regimens for HER2-overexpressing OC and other gynecologic cancers, and consider the role of ADCs and other approaches in the care of patients with these diseases.
  • Describe the scientific justification for, published research data with and current studies of novel agents and strategies for OC, and effectively prioritize clinical trial opportunities for eligible patients.

This program is intended for medical oncologists, breast surgeons, radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Assess available Phase III data with HER2-directed antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) therapy as a component of neoadjuvant therapy for patients with high-risk localized breast cancer, and consider the potential clinical role of this novel treatment approach.

This program is intended for medical and gynecologic oncologists, gynecologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of gynecologic cancers.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand available clinical research findings with PARP inhibitors as maintenance therapy after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer (OC), and appropriately counsel patients regarding personalized treatment recommendations.
  • Evaluate the biological rationale for and published data with PARP inhibitors in combination with other systemic therapies, and consider the current and potential clinical and research implications of these findings for OC management.
  • Appraise relevant biological, patient- and treatment-related factors to individualize the selection and sequencing of therapy for platinum-sensitive and platinum-resistant recurrent OC.
  • Appreciate available clinical research findings with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in combination with chemotherapy as first-line treatment for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (EC), and optimally incorporate this novel strategy into the care of patients with microsatellite instability-high/mismatch repair (MMR)-deficient and microsatellite-stable/MMR-proficient disease.
  • Understand the available data with PARP inhibitors in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy for patients with advanced or metastatic EC.
  • Interrogate published efficacy and safety findings with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in combination with other local or systemic therapies for cervical cancer, and effectively integrate immune checkpoint inhibition into patient care.
  • Evaluate published clinical research documenting the efficacy of HER2-targeted agents and regimens for patients with HER2-overexpressing gynecologic cancers, and consider the role of various approaches in disease management.
  • Describe the scientific justification for, published data with and ongoing research with novel agents and strategies for gynecologic cancers, and effectively prioritize clinical trial opportunities for eligible patients.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for medical and gynecologic oncologists, gynecologists, hematology-oncology fellows and other healthcare providers involved in the treatment of gynecologic cancers.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Understand available clinical research findings with PARP inhibitors as maintenance therapy after first-line platinum-based chemotherapy for advanced ovarian cancer (OC), and appropriately counsel patients regarding personalized treatment recommendations.
  • Evaluate the biological rationale for and published data with PARP inhibitors in combination with other systemic therapies, and consider the current and potential clinical and research implications of these findings for OC management.
  • Appraise relevant biological, patient- and treatment-related factors to individualize the selection and sequencing of therapy for platinum-sensitive and platinum-resistant recurrent OC.
  • Appreciate available clinical research findings with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in combination with chemotherapy as first-line treatment for advanced or recurrent endometrial cancer (EC), and optimally incorporate this novel strategy into the care of patients with microsatellite instability-high/mismatch repair (MMR)-deficient and microsatellite-stable/MMR-proficient disease.
  • Understand the available data with PARP inhibitors in combination with immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy for patients with advanced or metastatic EC.
  • Interrogate published efficacy and safety findings with anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies in combination with other local or systemic therapies for cervical cancer, and effectively integrate immune checkpoint inhibition into patient care.
  • Evaluate published clinical research documenting the efficacy of HER2-targeted agents and regimens for patients with HER2-overexpressing gynecologic cancers, and consider the role of various approaches in disease management.
  • Describe the scientific justification for, published data with and ongoing research with novel agents and strategies for gynecologic cancers, and effectively prioritize clinical trial opportunities for eligible patients.
  • Evaluate the potential benefits of measuring circulating tumor DNA to assess for the absence or presence of molecular residual disease during and after treatment for various gynecologic cancers, and consider the current and future utility of this strategy in clinical practice.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Consider emerging research information and available guideline recommendations to individualize first- and later-line therapy for patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) harboring various targetable genomic abnormalities beyond EGFR.

TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for medical oncologists, hematologists, hematology-oncology fellows, radiation oncologists, surgeons and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of multiple myeloma.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • Customize the selection of first-line therapy for newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (MM), considering new clinical research findings and patient- and disease-related factors, including cytogenetic profile and fitness for stem cell transplantation.
  • Appreciate clinical trial data informing the front-line use of CD38-directed monoclonal antibody therapy for patients with MM eligible or ineligible for stem cell transplant, and effectively identify when and how this strategy should be integrated into disease management.
  • Consider published research findings and other clinical factors in the best-practice sequencing of established and novel agents and regimens in the care of patients with relapsed/refractory MM.
  • Develop an understanding of the mechanisms of action of and pivotal clinical trial findings with FDA-approved novel therapies to facilitate their integration into MM management algorithms.
  • Evaluate the biological rationale for and published research information with chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy directed at B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) as a targeted therapeutic strategy for MM, and identify patients for whom treatment with this novel approach should be considered or recommended.
  • Assess available findings with BCMA- and non-BCMA-directed bispecific antibodies for MM, and recognize patients for whom treatment with one of these novel agents would be appropriate.
  • Review recently presented research establishing the definitive efficacy of BCMA-directed antibody-drug conjugate therapy, and recognize the potential role of this form of treatment in clinical practice.
  • Recall the mechanisms of action of and available research data with novel investigational agents and strategies for MM, and appropriately counsel patients about participation in relevant clinical trials.
