Duration of postoperative treatment after hepatic metastasectomy

Duration of postoperative treatment after hepatic metastasectomy
Editor's comments

Although the hepatic metastasectomy scenario involves metastatic disease, because the patient is rendered disease-free by surgery one might view this as an adjuvant scenario. Taking this view, most oncologists and the faculty stop treatment after a defined number of cycles as is typical in the management of localized disease.
